New Year Resolutions 2014

For 2014, I came up with three simple and attainable New Years resolutions. 

1.  I pledged here to never text and drive.  I'm certainly guilty of making hands-free phone calls, but it is terrifying to see how many people are driving with their heads down, looking at their phones.  I hate for my little Luke to be in the car with me with so many inattentive drivers.  I have precious cargo, as do so many other people.  In 2014, I will not text and drive, and I urge you to make the same pledge for the new year.

 2.  Read at least one book to Luke each day.  I've always attempted to read a book per day to Luke but it hasn't become part of our routine.  Reading is so important and especially at his age when he is soaking in every little thing around him.  In 2014, we're going to read more!

3.  Take care of our health.  I really want to watch my sugar intake.  Since I had Gestational Diabetes, I'm more likely to develop diabetes later in life, and more likely to have it again with any subsequent pregnancies.  The more I know about sugar, the more I think that we should cut down on it!  In 2014, we're going to eat less sugar!
