DIY birthday invitations

Luke is going to be ONE in just a month!  It's really hard to believe.  He is doing something new everyday.  He definitely calls me "mama," points at things, tries to feed me food, and he's been taking a few steps here and there.

Now it's party-planning time!  Step one is invitations!  You can't have a party without guests!

Here's your Michael's shopping list:
  • Balloon hole puncher
  • Zots 3D adhesive dots
  • colorful paper for the number cut out and balloons (preferably different)
  • blank note cards/envelopes
  • black inkpad
  • "you're invited" stamp
  • "handmade by" stamp
  • thin black marker

I punched out about 5-6 balloons for each card, and cut out a "1" for each card.  I stuck them all onto blank note cards with the Zots.  Then, I drew lines with a thin black marker from the balloon to the "one."

Then I stamped the inside with a "you're invited" stamp, and a "handmade by" stamp on the back. Voila!  Just a heads up that these did require more postage since they have a 3D quality to them, so make sure you get them measured at the post office before sending!
