DIY Taggy blanket

Yesterday, I attended my sister-in-law's beautiful baby shower.  I made baby Olivia a Taggy Blanket.  Babies can find tags on everything and like the texture so this puts all the tags in one place.

Here's how:

1.  You will need 2 squares of fabric (I used 10x10 in. fleece and baby fabric) and 4 in. strips of ribbon (I used 16 satin and ribbed polka-dot ribbon strips.)

2.  Loop the ribbon and pin them to the  "right" side on the fleece with the loops towards the middle of the square.

3.  Put the "right" side of the second fabric on top and sew 3 and 3/4 sides.

4.  Turn it inside out and push out the corners and then finish sewing that side.

5.  Add a 1/4 inch seam around the edge.

This makes a cute present topper, too!
